I think that my expectations of the preschool were different than reality. I expected it to be a lot more stressful, and hard to keep the kids focused and entertained, but it's actually quite easy if you get them interested in playing. My expectations of running the preschool was that it would be hard to maintain everything going on, but since there were so many of us (teachers) to help with the kids, it moved smoothly. One instance that I thought was going to be hard was getting all the kids to come to circle and be quiet, but it was somewhat easy because we had lots of teachers to help get them focused and sitting down. I had a great time this week, and can't wait for next week! :)

  1. I was nervous about circle time too. I thought they would have a hard time focusing for that long and start misbehaving but they have been doing great! It's especially helpful doing the felt stories because they have something physical to keep them distracted and interested.

  2. I agree with what you said; I was worried that it would be harder to keep things working smoothly in the preschool but it is not difficult if you know what you are supposed to be doing.
